Marco Polo Italian Ice Cream Inc.: Experience Unique Asian Flavors in San Jose

Good selection of ice cream with more intense flavors, friendly service, cash only since credit card option was not working. Bathroom also out of order.

Stumbled upon Marco Polo after eating in the area. We ordered 2 small cups, $7.25/ea, can split flavors. I personally had guava and green tea. Not too sure on dairy content, but I think it sat ok for my tummy. Harry was very friendly and patient as we decided to try quite a bit of flavors. Some seating inside. Parking difficult during peak hours.

Absolutely love Marco Polo. This is a long-standing, classic ice cream shop with consistently great flavors and quality. You can really tell they’ve been perfecting their recipes over the years. My top recommendations are the pistachio and black sesame flavors. Both are rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and full of authentic flavor. If you’re an ice cream lover, this place is definitely worth a visit!

This is not a joke. This is hands down the best ice cream in the world. Truly amazing, perfectly made and flavoured. Tastes exactly like you’re eating the juiciest and creamiest fruit in the world. Fresh and non-synthetic taste. Not too sweet and not too bland. The worker was kind enough to let us sample to our heart’s content. Be sure to try their Pandan or durian. Love how they let you choose two flavours!

I was craving ice cream and wanted something a little different, so I stopped by. I sampled many flavors, but my favorites were jackfruit and lychee. This was the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my entire life. I devoured a large amount and took a tub to go. The young gentleman who helped me was so pleasant. To whoever owns and runs this business, you are doing a phenomenal job!

I’ve been to the location in SF many times. Would come with a few pints. Now that I live in SJ, so glad that there is a location here. I’ve been here a few times and will always order the jackfruit (langka). I’ve also had the mango which is also very good but jackfruit is hands down my favorite. Wanted to try the new honeydew melon flavor but apparently it’s been out of stock for a few weeks. I guess that gives me another reason to come back haha Friendly staff… lets you try samples of the other flavors.

Hidden gem of San Jose Viettown with a wide variety of exotic ice cream flavors for a reasonable price and generous portion. It’s a place I proudly bring guests from out of town to visit. Ice cream: I usually get the small scoop which comes with 1-2 flavors for $6.55. My go to is the pandan leaf flavor with a mix of either lychee, green tea, or Thai tea. Even for picky eaters, they will have the right flavor for you. Service: Even with only one server and a decently long line, the service was patient, quick, and efficient. They allow customers multiple samples.

First time here so I ended up sampling all the flavors on their sign except soursop. They were all tasty and I ended up getting lychee, guava, and mango. From the sample, mango was fine with the combo but it definitely fell short of the lychee and guava flavor. Durian would have been a great choice if I was going for one flavor. If I was in the area, I wouldn't mind swing by again!
